I've started a new series on the ecosystem known as Florida Scrub. This is usually prevalent near the coast and in many cases is endangered by development. Fortunately some of these areas have now been protected by the state in Preserves.

Big Cypress Preserve

I've started a new series on the Big Cypress Preserve in South Florida. This area is a unique ecosystem that was saved from the heavy hand of developers and the ridiculous Florida political machine back in the '60's.
